About Course

B.Sc (Psychology) : The Department of Psychology was established in the year 2019 our mission is to Increase scientific and professional knowledge of behaviour and people's understanding of themselves and others and to the use of such knowledge to improve the condition of individuals, organizations, and society. Our vision is to commit to the discovery of knowledge about mind, brain, and behaviour, and to sharing that knowledge and the research processes that produce it with our students and our community. The department integrates graduate education, research, and service activities to advance the overall mission of the institution. The department aims to prepare students to become resourceful professional psychologists, counsellors, and mental health practitioners who can effectively deal with psychosocial problems like anxiety, depression, stress, suicidal tendencies, etc. By dealing with all these problems, psychology promotes mental health and well-being by mainly discovering various causes of human behaviour. It also helps in understanding different cognitive processes, social behaviours, developmental issues etc.
